Vocational Training

CALM has the opportunity to transform communities through ministry efforts such as Uplift a Family and creating local vocational centers. In the past, vocational centers have been constructed to provide young Africans with the skills and trade knowledge they will need to be successful and self sufficient. Trades such as sewing, leather making, carpentry, and masonry are a few of the courses that have been made available. The goal is to implement additional courses, such as health education and environmental protection, to the current program.

Along with the vocational skills training, CALM recognizes the great need to disciple these future entrepreneurs and skilled personnel to become men and women of God. Christian leadership development is vital to sustaining the momentum and success of today’s youth in East Africa and around the world.
