CALM understands the critical need to train pastors and church leadership in order to reach their communities for Christ. CALM provides Biblical training equivalent to a one-year Bible certificate and the pastors are encouraged to continue through more advanced training.

By providing ongoing Biblical training, today’s leaders can be equipped to reach tomorrow’s Christ followers. We purposefully equip pastors and leaders with sound Biblical knowledge, ministry skills and character development to reach out to the lost and hurting in Rwanda. CALM continues to rely on their relationships with the pastors they have trained and often partner with them to transform villages through ministry efforts such as Uplift a Family, Uplift a Village and creating local vocational opportunites.

Pastors in training often rely on the support and generosity from brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. You have the unique opportunity of providing for the Biblical training these pastoral students so desperately need. One year of Bible training costs about $500 per pastor. This includes multiple training sessions and courses, translation, transportation, lodging, meals and training materials.
